The advantages of this culture include long flowering, which begins in late spring or early summer. However, not everyone knows that this perennial herb has long been used to treat various pathologies.

Description of the plant
Badan, belonging to the saxifrage family, has a second, official name - bergenia. It was given in honor of the famous botanist Carl von Bergen from Germany. The thick root of a perennial bergenia can branch out, spread along the surface of the soil. Leathery foxes grow from the rhizome, the length of which can reach 35 centimeters. There are several varieties of the plant. The most common ones are:
- Badan Pacific. The plant has bright flowers with a pale lilac tint. They look like small bells. Large (up to 20 cm in diameter) rounded leaves are painted in rich green.
- Badan heart-leaved. The height of this plant ranges from 20 to 40 centimeters. The beautiful flowers can be purple, white, purple or pink, and the heart-shaped leaves are deep green.
- Badan thick-leaved. It is this variety that is most often used in folk medicine. Thick-leaved bergenia grows up to 50 centimeters. Its beautiful dark pink flowers and light green leaves turn red-brown in autumn.

How to brew bergenia root?
To prepare a decoction, you need to pour one tablespoon of crushed dry raw materials with boiling water (0.25 l) and put the container with the composition in a water bath for half an hour. Use for diseases of the mouth and throat

For adults with such problems, prepare a decoction of the roots from a tablespoon of raw materials and 200 ml of boiling water. The roots are brewed for half an hour under a closed lid. The broth is filtered, cooled at room temperature and taken before meals three times a day, one tablespoon (tablespoon).

This method, developed by a famous folk healer, consists in treatment using a combination of medicinal plants: celandine, marina root, bergenia and eleutherococcus.
The course of treatment according to the Golyuk method lasts three months and consists in the sequential intake of the following tinctures:
- Peony (marina root) - take during the entire course of treatment 30-40 drops three times a day.
- Badan roots - take two teaspoons for three days an hour before meals in the morning, afternoon and evening.
- Celandine - take a tablespoon 40 minutes before meals three times a day for the next three days.
- Then take Eleutherococcus tincture for three days -a teaspoon half an hour before meals.
Then they start taking infusion of bergenia and other herbs again in the described sequence until the full course of treatment (three months). Before use, alcohol tinctures are diluted in 50 ml of water. If liver metastases are detected, alcohol tinctures should be replaced with water ones.
