The plant belongs to the herbaceous annual species and reaches 90 cm in height. Differs in rod, small branched and thin root. It has a reddish, glabrous, branched, straight, dark purple stem. The leaves grow on small petioles, dark green in color, are five- or three-parted. The plant blooms with tubular, dirty yellow or yellow flowers. They can be collected in small baskets located at the end of the stem. In the series, the fruit is a wedge-shaped, ribbed, flattened achene with two sharply serrated setae.

Collecting and harvesting
