This can be explained by the fact that, due to the low thermal conductivity of air, the temperature of the solutions does not have time to reach the desired level. The chemical method of sterilization cannot be called the main one, but it performs the function of an auxiliary process with dignity. This procedure is used for processing those instruments that cannot withstand high temperatures.
