Charity often has real events at its core. So, St. Vladimir's Hospital in Moscow was founded at the expense of a man who built railways in Russia. The hospital began accepting children from 0 to 12 years of age from August 1, 1876.

At this time, the hospital was renamed, perpetuating the name of the deceased commissar Rusakov, he was a doctor by education.

An outstanding pediatric surgeon Stanislav Doletsky worked in the hospital for 35 years.
