Clavulanic acid is an antibacterial bactericidal agent belonging to the group of semi-synthetic penicillins. The drug gives the greatest effect in combination with the drug "Amoxicillin" - a broad-spectrum antibiotic. This combination has an irreversible inhibitory effect on the activity of beta-lactamase and is used to treat infections of the upper respiratory tract and respiratory tract, skin, urogenital system, joints and bones.
