Parasites that cause disease

Demodex folliculorum is a genus of parasitic mites that live inside or near hair follicles, in mammals or humans. The most frequent place of reproduction and life of ticks is the face: mainly eyelids, eyelashes, eyebrows, nasolabial folds, it is possible to develop in the ear canals, on the chin (places prone to accumulation of sebum and blockage of pores), but in rare cases they can appear where they do not tend to settle down. Human parasites are much more dangerous. The tick has the appearance of an oblong transparent worm up to 0.4 mm long, its body consists of two sections, the front of which has four pairs of legs, divided into segments. The oral apparatus is spoke-shaped, with its help the human parasite eats the secret of the sebaceous glands, which accumulates in the hair follicles, skin cells, hormones. The body is covered with small scales that help to keep infollicles. Capable of movement, therefore, it can move freely over the skin, infecting an ever larger surface of it. Activity shows mainly at night, prefers to avoid daylight.

Acne iron: life cycle

It starts from the moment the female has laid her eggs.

These mites are bisexual human parasites, the female has a more rounded shape, slightly shorter in size, fertilization is internal, occurs through the genital openings that both representatives of the species have. Mating occurs at the mouth of the hair follicle, while eggs are laid deeper, in its cavity, or in the cavity of the sebaceous gland. After about three days, an immobile larva with a good appetite hatches from the egg. After two days, the larva mutates into a still motionless nymph, and the nymph, in turn, after seventy-two hours, turns into a six-legged individual capable of movement. After two or three days, signs of a sexually mature tick appear, capable of laying new eggs. After performing reproductive functions, the tick dies, and its body decomposes inside the sebaceous gland. Thus, the entire metamorphosis occurs in two, maximum three weeks and is repetitive, which makes it possible for ticks to exist permanently.

Causes and methods of infection

The primary factor in the appearance of this disease is the weakening of the immune system in any of its manifestations, old age, as well as metabolic disorders of the body. In suchcase, the tick spreads quickly, almost unhindered.

It is believed that acne gland in small colonies constantly lives in the human body, and in most cases it is only a carrier, but at a convenient moment, the disease manifests itself. This is due to a number of reasons:

1. Viral hepatitis as a direct indicator of reduced immunity.

2. Diseases of the endocrine system, when the body is weakened during hormonal failure.

3. Diseases of the digestive tract.

4. Failures in the work of the nervous system, unstable mental state, lack of stress resistance, a tendency to panic perception of reality.

5. Use of hormonal cosmetics. On rare occasions.

A tick that affects the skin is activated in the off-season, in cases of severe diseases of the body, it can accompany a number of other infectious diseases.

Symptoms of glandular acne

Symptomatology is rather vague, due to which the disease is difficult to diagnose in the early stages. Complaints, for the most part, are subjective, have a fickle character, and in difficult cases and a running process, they become more obvious.

Conventionally, the disease can be divided into two main groups:

1. Diseases of the skin.

2. Diseases of eyelashes and eyes.

During reproduction, the process of vital activity, mites pollute hair follicles not only by their direct presence, but also by the products of cell decay, due towhich bacteria multiply. There are complaints about the sensation of itching, irritation on the skin, the presence of pustules, acne becomes noticeable to the naked eye, the pores enlarge, the skin secret becomes inflamed, causing redness, tuberosity. Increased secretion of sebum gives an unhe althy shine, gives the skin a grayish tint.

When the eyelashes are affected, the symptoms are similar to the inflammatory processes of the eyeball. The patient often notes redness and fatigue of the eyes in the evening, itching, swelling of the lower eyelid, cloudy liquid discharge in the morning, later complaints of crusting, eyelashes may exfoliate or fall out. In women, symptoms become more pronounced after using cosmetics, make-up removers.

Diagnosis

Among the diagnostic methods, one can distinguish between a subjective and an objective method. The first is a visual inspection, especially eyelash disease.

Laboratory diagnostic methods include scraping, in which samples of the upper layer of the epidermis are taken from the site of the lesion, and in case of inflammation of the eyes, a ciliary test is done. For reliability, patients are advised not to use cosmetics and make-up removers for several days before taking the test.

Prophylactic measures include general strengthening procedures in the off-season, immunoprophylaxis, elimination of immunodeficiency. From local measures to prevent the disease, one can single out the correct timely skin care, the use ofproven cosmetics suitable directly for you, since human parasites do not like cleanliness very much. Fans of salon cosmetic procedures need to make sure that the instruments are sterile.

Treatment

The first and main factor in a successful outcome of the disease is an appeal to a specialist, a dermatologist. When diagnosing this problem, in no case do not self-medicate, although there are enough traditional medicine to get rid of the problem.
