This antiviral medicine contains a biologically active element - hexose glycoside, extracted from Solanum tuberosum. It is a high molecular weight polysaccharide that increases the overall resistance of the body to a variety of viral pathogens and increases the production of its own interferon by white blood cells. In addition, it has a slight anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect.
When this medication is administered parenterally, its active ingredient is found in high concentration in plasma after 5 minutes. Removal of the drug begins in about half an hour. - With the development of pathologies caused by herpesvirus (including oral, ocular and genital), HPV (including the occurrence of genital warts), as well as other DNA and RNA enteroviruses.
