Ways to use honey
Treatment with honey is not limited to taking it inside: today it is used for inhalations, compresses and masks, infusions. Diluted honey is most effective, for example, in water, tea, herbal infusion or milk. This is due to the fact that in such a consistency it is more easily absorbed by the body: useful substances are absorbed into the blood faster and in greater quantities and distributed. As for inhalations, you need to breathe with a 30% solution. At homeconditions, a teapot or saucepan will serve as an inhaler.
Is honey always good?
Treatment with honey is allowed only if there are no allergic reactions to it. Unfortunately, so many people cannot use this sweet for this reason, either internally or externally.
Even if no side effects such as rashes, swelling or itching have been observed before, honey mixed with other ingredients can cause allergies. Also, do not consume more than 200 g of this product per day (this is the dosage for an adult), distributing it as follows: morning ¼, afternoon ½ and evening ¼ part.
Honey treatment: traditional medicine recipes
Thanks to the many recipes that are passed down from generation to generation and improved from year to year, honey treatment is one of the first places in folk medicine. These methods captivate with their naturalness, accessibility and effectiveness. The main components of these recipes are vegetables and fruits, herbs, and other folk remedies. Honey treatment can be used in cases where medicines can do more harm than good. This applies to the treatment of young children or the elderly, for whom, due to poor immunity, it is difficult to find medical treatment.
- Radish with honey is used to treat cough, bronchitis. To prepare the medicine, you need to take one root crop, wash it thoroughly and cut off the top. Then make a hole with a knife or spoon and pour honey into it. To buy honeyhealing properties, you need to leave it for several hours, and then use 3-4 times a day for a teaspoon.
- The following composition will help cure cough and unopened bronchitis: anise seeds (2 tablespoons), a pinch of s alt and a teaspoon of honey are dissolved in a glass of water, boiled and filtered. Drink 10 ml (that's 1 tablespoon) every 2 hours.
- For very young children, you can make a mixture of one part honey and one part olive oil. You need to give this drug in 2.5 ml. during the day.
- In case of acute rhinitis caused by adenoids, dissolve honey with red beet juice 30/70 and drip 5 drops into each nostril.
- For constipation, it is recommended to use fresh pumpkin pulp (or seeds) with honey or cooked pumpkin porridge.
- Also, with severe constipation, you can alleviate the condition with a mixture of dried apricots and prunes (400 g each), Alexandria leaf (1 pack) and liquid honey (200 ml). Dried fruits and grass are crushed in a blender or meat grinder and poured with honey. This mixture should be consumed in the morning on an empty stomach (1 tsp) or at bedtime with water at room temperature (at least a glass).
Solution of cosmetic problems with honey
This beekeeping product is also widely used in cosmetology: honey treatment of weakened hair, rashes on the face and body, obesity and cellulite - all this is included in the list of salon procedures of various levels.
