It is generally accepted that the drug "Paracetamol" is one of the safest means. But there is ongoing research and scientific debate about this.
So, for example, "Paracetamol" during breastfeeding and pregnancy is allowed if the risks of its use are justified by extreme necessity. Some manufacturers do not take risks and often include pregnancy and breastfeeding in the instructions for the drug as contraindications for use. Simple colds cannot harm a child in any way, but with the flu, the situation is completely different. It is clear that the flu is an emergency and can cause more harm to a child than Paracetamol. While breastfeeding and pregnant, it is still advisable to minimize the intake of any medications.
Researchers in this field believe that the drug "Paracetamol" with all its effectiveness, if not itself provokes the occurrence of many diseases, then at least activates most of their latent forms. It is unlikely that anyone really wants to know their genetic predisposition to diseases of the blood, digestive, cardiovascular or immune systems. If you do not provoke your body, you can never know about it at all. And all because of the fact that the drug "Paracetamol" has a strong toxic effect.
But still, it is impossible to allow a high temperature in both mother and child. And another such effective medicine as paracetamol, humanity has not yet come up with. Due to its indispensable spectrum of influence, it is included in most antipyretic and analgesic drugs,
especially anti-influenza and antiviral. Therefore, never combine different drugs that include paracetamol, as an overdose of this substance is fraught with bad consequences. Analgin, like paracetamol, is not desirable during breastfeeding and pregnancy. And although you can’t get away from it, try to reduce the use of such drugs as much as possible. Firstly, it is undesirable to bring down the temperature if it is below 38.5 degrees. Up to this point, the body is not only able to cope with pathogens on its own, but also learns to fight them, developing immunity. Second, try to usedrugs that, in addition to paracetamol, have good anti-inflammatory or antiviral components. Then taking medicines containing paracetamol during breastfeeding and pregnancy will be more justified.
Another risk group when using medicines containing paracetamol are small children. Researchers believe that in almost every second child this remedy causes persistent allergic reactions, up to asthma. And although there are special drugs, such as Paracetamol syrup for children, they should not be abused. It is not a therapeutic agent, it does not cure. It's just a way to respond quickly to very high temperatures. Therefore, you can not use the drug "Paracetamol" during breastfeeding, pregnancy and children as a permanent antipyretic drug.
After the first dose of the drug, you should immediately consult a doctor to determine the causes of the temperature and prescribe complex therapy, including the optimal antipyretic agent for continuous use. Be sure to tell he alth care workers what you have been taking, how much and when, including Paracetamol tablets. The price for them is low, only a few rubles, and even the syrup is not much more expensive, so it’s still worth it as an extreme way to have it in your home first aid kit. But treatment should not be allowed to do more harm than good. Take your he alth seriously and with full responsibility, because you are responsible not only for yourself, but also for one more human life. Don't get sick!
