Progress does not stand still. In many areas of modern society, new technologies and methods are emerging. Medicine is no exception in this regard. With the advent of new, modern computer technology, new methods of treatment have appeared that are more gentle and painless. Among these innovations is the operation of laparoscopy, carried out both for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of internal organs.
Initially, this method was conceived as a diagnostic method, but then it began to be used to cure patients. The laparoscopy procedure is performed under general anesthesia. Sometimes just a local anesthetic is used. When using general anesthesia, a special tube is inserted into the patient's airways to prevent food debris from the stomach from entering the lungs.
Actually, the operation of laparoscopy involves how many small incisions-punctures in the wall of the patient's abdominal cavity, while the size of the incisions is only about 1 cm. done for conveniencesurgeon's work. The gas simply lifts the abdominal wall, thereby increasing visibility and working space.
A special optics is inserted into another puncture, with the help of which the diagnosed organ is filmed, as well as the laparoscopy operation itself. After the procedure, the tape with the recording is given to the patient. This method is characterized by less blood loss, the absence of postoperative complications and scars.
A laparoscopy operation is used to diagnose and treat diseases of the abdominal organs - intestines, appendix, biliary tract, liver, etc. This method is prescribed when it is impossible to diagnose by conventional methods (ultrasound, computed tomography, etc.). Very often a similar procedure is used in gynecology - various female diseases are diagnosed with this method: benign tumors, ectopic pregnancy, torsion appendages, etc. In all these cases, both diagnostics and, in fact, laparoscopic surgery can be performed.
Gynecology is one of the main areas in medicine that uses this method. A sparing method that brings excellent results and a minimum of complications, unfortunately, is not used in all clinics. The fact is that to carry out such a procedure, special equipment is needed, which is not available everywhere. Doctors sometimes advise patients to go to special clinics. Of course, this procedure is not completely free.
Laparoscopy (priceoperations) may depend on several factors. This is, first of all, of course the degree of complexity of the procedure. For example, diagnostics can cost about 40,000 rubles, and surgery will, of course, be more expensive - about 60,000 rubles.
Despite the high cost, this method of surgery is still preferred by many, as it is less painful and does not come with serious complications.
