The melting point of hard wax ranges from 65-88 degrees. Ceresin contains no volatile components, it is insoluble in alcohol and water. It boils at a temperature of 400 degrees, and flashes at 260. The main advantage of this mixture over paraffin is a higher viscosity and thickening of oils. To improve the properties of wax, ceresin is added to it. Varieties with a higher numbering (80, 80H, 90) have a similar application, but their structure is undoubtedly of better quality, and accordingly, such varieties are more expensive than analogs of a substance called ceresin (what it is - we have already found out) of a smaller order.
Precautions for handling the substance
