Papillomatous nevus is a skin defect. It differs from birthmarks, firstly, in color (the color matches the skin) and, secondly, in texture (its surface is covered with small tubercles).
Location
Often a nevus can be found on the scalp (in this case, it is penetrated by hair). Education on the skin can be either single or cover the entire body - it depends solely on physiology. Can it be removed?

Options
There are several varieties of this procedure. As well as birthmarks, a nevus can be removed with a laser, radio wave method under local anesthesia. If the formation on the skin is large, surgical excision is required. After the operation, the patient is stitched.
Electrocoagulation
This method is considered one of the most popular. The skin area is cauterized with a high frequency electric current. At the same time, the papilloma is dried and separated from the body, and not completely burned out. This allows you to examine the material and identify the causes of the neoplasm.

Cryodestruction
Removal with liquid nitrogen is also considered a fairly effective procedure, although it takes much more time than the previous two options. After the area of the skin is frozen, after a while the tissue swells, then blisters appear. Only after a few weeks does the rejection of the nevus occur. If we take into account the period when the scar heals, the whole process takes about six months.
