Every person - both an adult and even a child - is well aware of the possibility of getting a very dangerous sun or heat stroke and its consequences. But when you come to the beach in summer, you can often see how all these "knowing" people lie under the bright sun for hours, not paying attention to anything. But even the usual stay under the rays of the luminary without a headdress for a long time can end in failure. Therefore, we all should be well aware of the symptom of overheating in the sun in order to prevent danger in case of something.
What could be the problem? The fact that a sunstroke can happen not only when a person is under the scorching rays, but also 6-9 hours after he left the beach. If the body is overheated, then it can react to this with heat stroke, the signs of which are almost the same assunny.
Let's see how the symptom of overheating in the sun manifests itself? It all starts with lethargy, which is growing all the time, headache, feeling tired and thirsty. Well, it continues with tinnitus, dizziness, sometimes vomiting and nausea, pain, very unpleasant sensations throughout the body. There may well be bleeding from the nose, increased sweating.
The final signs of overheating in the sun are respiratory distress and heart weakness. The person almost always loses consciousness. He has hallucinations, delirium, convulsions may begin. The cessation of sweating is a characteristic sign of the most severe degree of overheating. In the event that at such a moment a person is not provided with urgent first aid, it may well end in death.
After the first symptom of overheating in the sun has appeared (most often, unfortunately, loss of consciousness), the victim must be removed as soon as possible from the open rays of the place and transferred to shade and coolness. There he needs to be laid on his back, while slightly raising his legs, undressing, ensuring a constant supply of fresh air and peace. If a person has not lost consciousness, it is advisable to give him a cup of strong tea or ordinary cold water, which must first be s alted at the rate of half a teaspoon of s alt per half liter of water. Don't forget to put a wet, cold towel on your head, or at least get it wet.
When a person gets overheated in the sun, their body temperature can rise noticeably. So, in severe casesit is recommended that the victim be completely wrapped in a wet cold sheet. For a short period and carefully, this is done if the body temperature is above 38 degrees. You can simply pour water on the victim. If possible, it would be useful to put bottles of cold water or ice in some places. To those places where there are many blood vessels: axillary and popliteal areas, on the head, groin.
It is necessary to pay attention to such a symptom of overheating in the sun as the nature of breathing, whether the airway is blocked. If vomit is found in the mouth and the tongue is retracted, turn the victim's head to the side and clean the oral cavity with a handkerchief or a bandage wrapped around a finger. If breathing is weak or absent, artificial respiration should be done, if there is no pulse, a heart massage.
As soon as the person gets better, immediately take him to the nearest medical facility, if he is unconscious, call an ambulance immediately, as there is a real threat to the life of the victim.
The most important thing in such a situation is not to get scared, not to get confused and do everything right and quickly. After all, it can save the life of a person who received a sun or heat stroke.
