Prolapsed uterus is a serious problem for many women. The disease is manifested by pulling pains in the uterus, a feeling of heaviness in the lower abdomen, impaired urination, and unpleasant discharge from the vagina. It is not uncommon for women to take such a situation for a tumor and are afraid to go to the doctors, thereby complicating their situation.

Very often, when the uterus prolapses, it prolapses. This happens due to the fact that the internal genital organs have shifted and are in the wrong location. The cervix does not always come out of the genital slit, even if the woman is pushing. But when the uterus comes out of the genital slit, it is considered a prolapse, which can be partial or complete.

When the uterus prolapses, the physiological border of the genital organs shifts along the axis of the small pelvis due to a weakening of muscle tone and sprain.

Such an aporia occurs in women of different ages. Up to forty years, it is diagnosed in 40% of patients, and after fifty more than half of women. Gynecological operations have to be done in 15% of patients with uterine prolapse or prolapse.

There are cases when pelvic organ prolapse has been observed since childhood. With the prolapse of the uterus, the disease begins to progress gradually, which leads to severe physical and emotional suffering for the woman, and sometimes even leads to disability.

In the normal position of the uterus, the genitals in the small pelvis are located at a distance characteristic of its anatomical structure, and due to its physiological mobility, it can easily change position as the rectum or bladder fills.

In order for the genitals to always remain in the correct position, the uterus must have a good tone of its own, ligaments and muscles.

Causes of uterine prolapse

Prolapse of the uterus in women can be caused by numerous reasons:

  • pathological childbirth;
  • frequent constipation;
  • overweight;
  • lack of female sex hormones;
  • hard physical labor;
  • large number of births or abortions;
  • wrong predisposition of the uterus;
  • connective tissue dysplasia.

There are three degrees of uterine prolapse:

  1. Uterus protruding but not protruding from vagina.
  2. The uterus is lowered and partially falls out at the slightest strain (during coughing or sneezing, for example).
  3. The entire area of the uterus protrudes to the surface of the genital slit.

Preventive measures

Modern medicine uses two methodstreatment of the disease in women: conservative and surgical. But it is better to prevent the disease than to bring it to extreme measures.

When the uterus prolapses, life does not end. With this diagnosis, you can lead a normal life. The main thing is to adhere to elementary rules: in no case do not lift weights, reduce physical activity to a minimum, conduct regular examinations at the gynecologist.

To avoid the unpleasant problems of prolapse (omission of the uterus), train the muscular apparatus of the pelvic organs. Special exercises in this situation are needed not only for prevention, but are also the only treatment for the disease if it is at an early stage. During exercise, the walls of the abdominal cavity are strengthened, which helps to maintain the genitals.
